About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Team Leader to support the daily operation of our fast-paced state -of-the-art manufacturing facility. You’ll lead a small team of operators, ensure safe and efficient production, and help maintain the highest standards of quality and housekeeping.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, solving problems in real time, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of production operators across your shift.
- Ensure safe operation of all machinery and strict adherence to site H&S standards.
- Monitor production performance, output, and product quality.
- Complete daily checks, shift reports, and escalate issues when needed.
- Coordinate material flow, machine changeovers, and maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Train, coach, and develop team members.
- Work closely with Maintenance & Operations Management to minimise downtime and maximise throughput.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
About You
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, processing, or industrial environment.
- Proven people leadership or supervisory experience (Team Leader, Lead Operator or similar)
- Strong understanding of health & safety and safe working practices
- Confident decision-maker with good communication skills
- Organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure
- Positive attitude and commitment to high standards of quality, housekeeping, and teamwork.
- Experience in with FLT, Telehandler and MEWP’s would be advantageous.
What you will receive
- Salary/Pay Rate: £34,385 pa.
- Working pattern: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rotating shift basis: 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am.
