About the role –

Alison works closely with our Group Head of Operations, Mikolaj – across all 3 of our sites in Wrexham. She’s responsible for maintaining our Environmental Management System, and advising on continuous improvement as we continually strive to grow in our environmental efforts.

Alison will be working on all things ‘corporate social responsibility’ with all departments- and has already established a ‘Green Team’! And as if that wasn’t enough she’ll ensure Health and Safety with Mik across the Platts Group – Platts Agriculture Limited, Platts Transport Limited and Platts Commercial Services.

Get to know Alison-

“I began my working life on farms in Yorkshire, Cumbria and Herefordshire.  After travelling the world for over a year, I gained a degree in Environmental Science and have since worked in the environmental area for a waste company, The Wildlife Trust, Groundwork and a plastics factory, amongst others.

I have also been a self-employed environmental auditor for several years.  I have three teenage boys, a husband, dog and tortoise and live in Wrexham.  I enjoy the outdoors, hill walking, wildlife gardening and dislike shopping.

I am delighted to have joined the Platts team and am looking forward to meeting everyone and helping the company to continually improve their environmental performance.”

Welcome to the Team Alison!
