Who are the Army Cadet Charity Trust?
ACCT UK makes life-changing opportunities accessible to all young people through the Army Cadet Force (ACF). The ACF is a remarkable organisation providing a national programme of progressive youth development and challenge activities for 12-18 year olds.
Currently 38,180 cadets nationwide (as of April 23) take part in a broad range of stimulating and challenging activities.
The Impact
1 – In the past 10 years, they have provided grants of £4.5m in support of young people.
2 – Each year they empower 39,000+ young people with enriching qualifications, experiences, and activities.
3 – Each year over 8,000 adult volunteers have access to financial assistance to develop their youth leadership skills.
4 – They support volunteers in the army cadets with legal and professional advice, insurance and counselling services to support them in their volunteering.
