A unique blend of softwood sawdust and big flake shavings. Big Mix is a brand-new Platts product, made from a unique blend of 100% virgin sawdust and our big flake shavings, designed to keep your cattle, horses, and poultry dry, clean, and comfortable.
Innovative Blending
Developed with Platts’ innovative blending technology, Big Mix combines large softwood shavings of varied particle sizes with 100% virgin sawdust.
This unique mix delivers the high absorbency of sawdust while providing the support and comfort of large shavings – the best of both worlds for your cattle, poultry, or horses!
Extra Absorbent
The sawdust and large flake combination in our Big Mix bedding provides excellent absorbency, keeping bedding fresher for longer and reducing the risk of bacterial growth and mastitis.
Its unique blend also lowers odours and ammonia levels, creating a cleaner, fresher environment for your livestock.
Big Bales
This product is available in our larger bales, with 30 Big Mix bales stacked on a pallet. Pallets are then wrapped in our weatherproof hood for outdoor storage, to enable better use of space and more freedom for you.
